EYES OF A BLUE DOG

Experimental Short Film is personal interpretation of original story by Gabriel Garcia Marquez that follows two lovers see each other in the dream and trying to find a way how to meet after awakening.

"I am writing on the wall the phrase you whispered in my dream, with hope, that we meet one day. You promised to remember the sacred words-

"Eyes of a blue dog". My eyes, with spirit which connects the life and chamber, where we go after we open the door for sleep.

We come into the dark ink lake, cold room with two chairs, just for us. Your spirit floating graciously to the table, where I meet your eyes.

Your marble skin, reflects the soul- so tender, reflection of my own.

Our hands, Rodin's creation, light up the candle. Flame warms up our bodies and melts the clock that locks the time.

It frees the numbers from the known and brings the space for the unknown. In the unknown, timeless hope for seeing you

again holds to the words "Eyes of a blue dog"."
